Greetings friends,
Due to rain we have decided to move the times of the garden work day. Since it is supposed to rain in the morning we will work SATURDAY APRIL 16 AND SUNDAY APRIL 17 FROM 1-5pm. The garden asks for 2 hours of work. If you were planning on coming Saturday morning and have no other time available this weekend, let us know. We hope this doesn't cause too much trouble, we just thought you all wouldn't want to work in the rain!

We Need Your Help on our First Work Day!
Saturday April 16 from 8am - 4pm @ 3417 Wyoming Street
On Saturday April 16, The Wedge Community Garden members need your help to improve the neighborhood through the creation of a community garden. We will be building and planting all our vegetable garden beds and will need your help. If you like to garden or just want to help our group to achieve our goal of building community, creating beauty and growing fresh produce then you are exactly who we need to help us out. The work we will need help with on this, our very first work day is:- Building new beds
- Turning the previous years beds
- Building a 4-bin composter
- Planting seeds and seedlings
- Spreading mulch, if available.
If you are willing to help us in these and more endeavors we would request that you bring a few items with you such as:
- Turing forks
- Spade or shovel
- Wheel Barrel
- Garden Rake
- And any available brackets or hinges you have lying around to help construct the Composter.
We appreciate any time you might have to help us out. If you have any questions please call me (Andrew) at 618-558-8351 or Susie at 314-772-5215 or just reply to this email. I also have a link below for anyone who needs directions.
