On Sunday May 22nd, The Wedge Community Garden members need your help to improve the neighborhood through the creation of a street side public garden and a community space within the garden. We will be planting beautiful perennials for the neighborhood to enjoy and will need your help. If you like to garden or just want to help our group to achieve our goal of building community, creating beauty and growing fresh produce then you are exactly who we need to help us out. The work we will need help with on this, our second big work day is:- Mixing fresh soil with the existing soil
- Planting beautiful flowers and trees
- Spreading mulch around all the plants
- Continuing and developing new walkways
- Helping create a common space (including a kid friendly corner!)
If you are willing to help us in these and more endeavors we would request that you bring a few items with you such as:
- Turning forks
- Spade or shovel
- Wheel Barrel
- Garden Rake
- Garden Gloves
- An Edger
